Direct MR arthrography is increasingly used for diagnosing intra articular joint pathology but requires X-ray fluoroscopy for contrast medium introduction and therefore adjacent radiology facilities. This work develops a method for MR guided direct arthrography using in room control and display of the MR system combined with multi-sequence interactive MR fluoroscopy and demonstrates the feasibility in phantom and human joints.
