In MRI quantitative measures are not frequently used. Quantitative T1-measurement in the abdominal region is however of clinical importance for quantification of contrast agent concentration in suspected lesions. In this study T1-measurements in 8 slices were performed with the classical Look-Locker (LL) sequence using a 3D Turbo Field Echo sequence. The entire volume was acquired within one breathhold, both before and after contrast agent administration. This technique allows for quantitative assessment of contrast agent concentration, thus permitting permeability imaging in areas that suffer from important motion problems.
