An important clinical use of Dixon techniques is to quantify fat deposition in organs such as liver. Because the amount of fat deposition relates to the severity and progression of disease, a reliable method to quantify fat would be a valuable tool for diagnosis and follow up of patients. The purpose of this study is to develop reliable methods to quantify fat.
