Improvements in Line Scan Diffusion Weighted Image Reconstruction with a Least Norm Algorithm

Line scan diffusion image (LSDI) is inherently blurred in the line scan direction. In addition, intraview motion in the presence of diffusion weighted gradients may cause signal loss in some lines in LSDI. In this work, we use a least norm (LN) algorithm to reconstruct the images to improve the image quality by solving these two problems. High spatial resolution is obtained in the LN image, and the dropped line is recovered with high accuracy.
