Parahydrogen and synthesis allows dramatically enhanced nuclear alignment (PASADENA) can achieve greater than 10,000 times 13C signal enhancement through hyperpolarization. Two 13C PASADENA reagents were infused into a rat simultaneously. Reconstruction of the data demonstrates that 3D spatial, spectral, and temporal information can be obtained using fast multi-echo balanced SSFP 13C imaging in vivo.
