Abstract: Changes in diffusivity and anisotropy revealed in normal appearing white matters (NAWM) brain tissues beyond the origin of tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) lesions may be important to help localize lesions in MRI negative patients. Six TSC patients and twelve age-matched normal control subjects were studied to evaluate diffusivity and anisotropy in NAWM to investigate whether there are microstructural abnormalities.
