Automatic Correction For Signal Intensity Drift In Diffusion Weighted Images

DTI under full duty cycle may lead signal drift. This signal drift causes overestimation of Apparent Diffusion Coefficient, underestimation of the Fractional Anisotropy, and error in the estimation of the primary diffusion direction used for tractography. Here we present a novel way to correct for the signal drift at no or little extra cost in acquisition time.
