The aim of this study was to identify whether four different grades of reticulated foam, which appeared visually identical when imaged on a 1.5T MRI scanner using a gradient echo sequence, could be distinguished using texture analysis. The influence of changing the sequence parameters on the outcome of texture analysis was also assessed.
