We describe the use of human-induced pluripotent cell-derived neural progenitors for transplantation into the rat brain after temporary middle cerebral artery occlusion. The aim of our study was to determine metabolic changes by 1H MR spectroscopy in the striatal tissue after focal brain ischemia during four months.
