A novel Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spinning gradient acquisition was developed to produce better images of the isolated rat heart model of ischemic heart disease. The new acquisition had a uniform distribution of gradient angles, which increased the image signal to noise ratio and reduced radial streaking artifacts.
