Fast spectroscopic imaging techniques such as
echoplanar spectroscopic imaging in high B
help to detect small changes in cellular energy
metabolism on a time scale of a few seconds. The
presented data show that
echoplanar spectroscopic imaging techniques enable
functional spectroscopic studies of human energy
T with good spatial and temporal resolution.
