3D cine T1 mapping using a stack-of-spirals sampling scheme and a Look-Locker inversion recovery preparation at 7T : Application on small animal cardiac imaging.

In this study, a dual cine and 3D T1 mapping method
using stack-of-spirals sampling scheme and a Look-Locker
approach at high magnetic field is presented. This
method has been tested on mice beating heart and allows
to differentiate with a high contrast to noise ratio the
blood and the myocardium. The dual quantification of T1
and cardiac cinematic might allows a precise
characterization of tissue damages induced by a
myocardial infarction.
