Study of the Spinal Cord  BOLD functional response

Spinal Cord Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) techniques are widely exploited for the study of brain activation. Similar approaches have been repeatedly attempted in the spinal cord, but spinal cord fMRI has not yet affirmed as habitual tool for the assessment of spinal cord function. One of the reasons is that the features of the functional contrast are still partially unknown.
