Evaluation of Cirrhosis and Chronic Hepatitis with Diffusion Weighted Imaging and ADC Measurements

Diffusion-weighted imaging and ADC values were obtained for 19 cases of cirrhotic livers, 4 cases of chronic hepatitis and 11 cases of normal livers (b=0 and 500 sec/mm2). In comparison with that of normal livers, ADC value is significantly decreased for cirrhosis and mildly decreased for chronic hepatitis.
