(~2ms) 2DRF B1 inhomogeneity mitigation pulses designed to give broadband
uniformity with a controlled excitation in fat were integrated into a T1
weighted MPRAGE sequence. No SAR increase was experienced compared with a
standard sequence, but improved grey/white matter contrast was observed.
