Simulation
of interleaved spiral data acquisition demonstrates reduced sensitivity to
motion-induced dark-rim artifacts as compared to conventional Cartesian data
acquisition. Thus, spiral data
acquisition strategies may be advantageous for first-pass myocardial
perfusion imaging.
