In recent years blood oxygen level dependent (BOLD) MRI has gained more importance in the entire field of MRI.Therefore we performed a clinical study with 4 healthy volunteers and investigated if the signal changes in the kidney due to a water intake of the volunteers could satisfactorily being followed and if our optimized sequences with high parallel imaging acceleration factors can be used for quick renal BOLD-MRI. We investigated three different sequences each with a different resolution and imaging time.
