There are no proven pharmacologic treatments for Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH). Acetazolamide (ACZ) is known to reduce CSF production and interstitial edema. We hypothesized that a low dose of ACZ would reduce CSF production and brain interstitial fluid in NPH.
