This abstract presents a CAIPIRINHA style sampling using a 3D stack-of-spiral trajectory. By rotating the spiral interleaves along the through-plane direction, the encoding capability of the receiver sensitivities can be better used to improve the g-factor. We show the improved quality of the 3T in vivo human brain images acquired at 2 multiplication sign 0.75 multiplication sign 0.75mm 3 resolution using this method. In addition, this abstract presents a 3D GRAPPA method that is used to reconstruct the CAIPIRINHA style under-sampled stack-of-spiral data.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
