In this study we present a setup capable to monitor
changes in ionic concentration gradients
in
vitro
. The main parts of the setup are a
three
dimensional
cell
culture, a completely MR-compatible bioreactor and a
23
Na
surface coil. In a pilot study we performd a
23
Na
CSI experiment to show that we are able to resolve a non
varying reference compartment from a compartment with
varying physiological parameters.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
