For accurate and complete SAR assessment of an RF coil all E and B field components are required. A system for the calibration of fiber optic time-domain E 1 and B 1 field sensors using an MR compatible TEM cell and the MR scanner itself was developed. The complex field amplitudes of E 1 , B 1 + and B 1 were reliably measured in an ASTM body phantom equipped with provisions for internal and external field sensors. Utilizing the body coil of a clinical 3 T scanner, the measurements are used to evaluate the accuracy of EMF simulations.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
