Singleshell diffusion MRI NODDI with in vivo cervical cord data

Neurite Orientation Dispersion and Density Imaging (NODDI)
is a novel diffusion MRI technique which relies on
doubleshell acquisition. To date, it is not clear
whether a reduced NODDI model could be fitted to
singleshell diffusion data of areas such as the spinal
cord. In this work, we compare singleshell estimates of
NODDI parameters to doubleshell ground truth in the
healthy cervical cord in vivo, and our results would be
informative for retrospective NODDI analysis of in vivo
singleshell diffusion data of the same area.
