The MP3RAGE sequence is a straightforward modification of MP2RAGE that acquires three images with different T 1 contrast following an inversion pulse. These images can be used for direct T 1 lookup, enabling accurate high-resolution mapping in clinically relevant scan times (10 minutes or less). We demonstrate that, with an appropriate choice of parameters, MP3RAGE T 1 maps can be made almost totally insensitive to B 1 effects, a key requirement for high-field imaging. These T 1 maps have excellent accuracy compared to a reference map. The MP3RAGE data can also be used to generate a whole-brain flip angle map at the same resolution.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
