Diffusion weighted imaging has been widely used in the clinical diagnosis of acute ischemic strokewhile it provides only less information. Diffusion kurtosis imaging is a quantitative measure of the non-Gaussianity of brain; may better characterize tissue microstructure. Our study is to investigate the temporal evolution of diffusion kurtosis imaging-related parameters in ischemic stroke.
