A dedicated 31P birdcage coil was designed, validated
and constructed as an insert for an 8 channel,
multi-transmit, octagonal shaped, 1H coil to enable
homogeneous excitation and acquisition of 31P compounds
combined with 1H multi-transmit capabilities to asses
metabolic processes in-vivo at 7T.
