A novel design scheme for monolithic transmission line
resonators (TLRs) used as NMR surface probes is
presented. The multi-turn multi-gap TLR design provides
an additional degree of freedom for adjusting the TLR
geometry, and therefore enables more accurate
optimization of current distribution, and B

pattern.
It also promotes the use of multi-turn TLR technology
for high-field applications requiring a large FOV, which
has not been possible up to now due to the low
self-resonance frequency of these coils. Here, we
compare three different multi-turn multi-gap TLRs
designed for

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
