Imaging and spectroscopy of multiple nuclei with phased arrays has demonstrable utility in magnetic resonance. Our application involves imaging of deuterium and proton. Deuterium has been used for glucose monitoring, tracking bolus diffusion, and providing a signal lock. We have developed a dual-tuned, geometrically decoupled two-element receive array for sequential or interleaved imaging of proton ( 1 H) and deuterium ( 2 H) at 1T. Array elements are detuned passively during transmit with crossed diodes, while transmit elements are detuned during receive using PIN diodes. 1 H and 2 H Images of a deuterated water phantom taken at 1T are shown.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
