Temperature mapping based on the temperature dependence of the chemical shift of water protons offers high sensitivity, however it is also subject to many confounds. Mainly drifts in the magnetic fields have to be corrected for in order to achieve high accuracy. Therefore field monitoring based on an array of 16 temperature stabilized NMR field probes is used to reconstruct phase based temperature maps for field drifts up to 3 rd order in space. Sub-degree accuracy was achieved even in the presence of comparably strong dynamic field perturbation in-vitro in comparison to fluoroptic temperature reference probes.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
