Multi-contrast Brain Image Registration for Low-contrast Paediatric Magnetic Resonance Imaging

A multi-contrast brain imaging technique has been presented, that leverages information from T₁- and T₂-weighted images to register iso-intense paediatric MRI data. The proposed method is applied to T₁-weighted images of 6-months old infants, and the performance is evaluated in comparison to commonly employed single-contrast registration techniques.
