Synopsis

Keywords: Deuterium, Deuterium, DMIInterleaved MRI-DMI (Deuterium Metabolic Imaging) is a transformative approach to obtain multi-contrast anatomic MRI and metabolic information in parallel with time efficiency. In this work, we expand the toolkit of interleaving 2H DMI with 1H MRI, by using a newly developed interleaved 3D SWI-DMI sequence that relies on acquiring a truncated 2H signal. Acknowledging the limitations of fitting truncated 2H signals independently, we propose a method to combine truncated FID with fully-sampled acquisitions to improve DMI sensitivity. The updated interleaved MRI-DMI protocol with 3D SWI-DMI was demonstrated on a patient with a brain tumor.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
