Keywords: Arterial spin labelling, Perfusion, BrainArterial spin labeling (ASL) is a non-invasive MRI technique that allows to quantitatively measure cerebral blood flow. However, the major limitation of ASL is in the intrinsically low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Balanced steady-state free precession (bSSFP) sequence has been proposed to mitigate this limitation, however, bSSFP is sensitive to off-resonance effects. ASL perfusion imaging with bSSFP can be sensitive to effects from motion and flow when Cartesian sampling scheme is used. This work proposes and investigates radial sampling scheme for ASL with bSSFP to allow perfusion imaging with relatively high SNR and robustness to motion and off-resonance effects.
How to access this content:
For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
