Synopsis

Keywords: fMRI (task based), High-Field MRI, VASO, laminar fMRIIn this study, we measured the monocular and binocular responses of ocular dominance columns across cortical depths in human V1 using vascular-space-occupancy (VASO) fMRI at 7T. BOLD and VASO images were acquired from five participants using the DZNE sequence with an isotropic resolution of 0.8 mm. Our results indicate that VASO better differentiates the monocular responses between adjacent columns compared to GRE BOLD. In addition, the binocular modulation of the monocular neurons in V1 could possibly be revealed with VASO contrast.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
