Synopsis

Keywords: Signal Representations, Brain, MR-histologyTo infer cellular-level information from MR signals with high sensitivity and specificity is a challenging task. We previously demonstrated the feasibility of mapping myelin in the mouse brain based on multi-contrast MRI using deep learning, but the results were based on limited histological data and MRI data from separate cohorts. In this study, we acquired serial 2-photon and MRI data from the same mice and trained a neural network for mapping myelin. Our results demonstrated enhanced sensitivity and specificity compared to conventional MRI myelin markers, our previous network, and polynomial fitting.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
