Synopsis

Keywords: Vessels, Cardiovascular, angiographyCardiovascular MRA is established for serial anatomical evaluation of patients with congenital heart disease (CHD). However, this approach is limited by diaphragmatic respiratory navigation, that leads to long acquisition times and degraded image quality due to residual motion artefacts. Here we evaluate a novel accelerated whole-heart framework in patients with adult CHD. This approach incorporates image-based navigation for translational and non-rigid motion-correction along with 3D patch-based denoising for efficient, free-breathing 3D whole-heart imaging. Comparison between the conventional and the research sequence shows superior diagnostic confidence and diagnostic accuracy for the proposed technique in significantly faster acquisition time (~3min proposed,~15min clinical).

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
