Keywords: Lung, Diffusion/other diffusion imaging techniquesA novel diffusion weighted imaging model called restriction spectrum imaging (RSI) captures the distinct diffusion behavior of tumors. The restricted diffusion correlates to tumor cellularity, a potential indicator of cancer aggressiveness. To assess its capability of characterizing lung cancer metastasis, we applied a three-compartment RSI model and intravoxel incoherent motion model to DWI images of locally advanced and metastatic lung cancer patients with the diagnosis of biopsy. The RSI model demonstrated its ability to discriminate the lung cancer of locally advanced (III) and metastatic (IV) stage, and the results outperforms the traditional IVIM model.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
