Synopsis

Keywords: Atherosclerosis, Diffusion/other diffusion imaging techniquesWe developed a Dw-viscosity imaging method to identify atherosclerotic plaques. First, we conducted experiments to determine ADC and viscosity changes of four different concentrations of glycerin solution, and determined the viscosity model. Second, a clinical study was carried out, and Dw-viscosity imaging was performed. As a result, we found that there was a significant difference between with and without hemorrhage findings (P < 0.01). Dw-viscosity imaging enables us to obtain more detailed information about atherosclerotic plaques such as intraplaque hemorrhage.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
