Synopsis

Keywords: Quantitative Imaging, BrainCurrent whole-brain implementations of rotating frame relaxation (RFR) mapping are generally limited to moderate spatial resolutions due to acquisition time limitations. We propose using transform domain NORDIC, T-NORDIC, to increase the quality of RFR maps at both moderate and high spatial resolution. The results show clear improvements in terms of fitting reliability for estimation of adiabatic T1ρ and T2ρ, and especially Relaxation Along a Fictitious Field in rotating frame of rank n=4 (RAFF4) after applying NORDIC denoising. The improvements in map quality can be leveraged to reduce acquisition times in clinical applications.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
