Synopsis

Keywords: Brain Connectivity, COVID-19The neural mechanisms underlying the neuropsychiatric disorders suffered by Long-Covid-19 patients remain unknown. Non-invasive [18F]-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT) brain imaging is an effective way to study this issue. In the present study, based on 18F-FDG PET brain imaging and analysis of the brain metabolic network, we found significant reductions in metabolic levels in the frontal, temporal, and parietal lobes in patients with Long-Covid-19. A significant reduction in metabolic connectivity between temporal and frontal networks in patients with Long-Covid-19 may be the underlying neural mechanism underlying cognitive impairment.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
