Synopsis

Keywords: Tumors, Tumor, meningiomaThe new guidelines suggest that brain invasion is not a unique feature of malignant meningiomas, but may be a pathologic condition of benign meningiomas with a potential risk of recurrence. However, maximum preservation of normal brain tissue is essential for surgery. Accurate preoperative MRI evaluation of meningioma brain invasion is expected to solve the dilemma faced by neurosurgeons.
