Synopsis

Keywords: Data Analysis, Segmentation, EEG Electrodes Localization, T1-weighted MRIThe localization of EEG sources is one of the fundamental approaches to facilitate the interpretation of EEG data. However, the accuracy of source localization depends on the exact knowledge of the position of the electrodes on the scalp, which currently requires time-consuming and/or expensive approaches. Here, an automatic method is proposed that retrieves the electrode positions by localizing the curvature changes in T1-weighted MRI images caused by electrodes. The results show an average detection sensitivity of ~96.4%, with an average position error of 4.23 mm for all subjects.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
