Keywords: Parallel Imaging, Data Acquisition, Quality AssessmentMRI acquisition from certain populations is difficult. For instance, infant MRI without sedation during wakefulness has a high failure rate due to head motion. Thus, a shorter scan time is required. Increasing studies focused on fast MRI acquisition but few studies examined their qualities. We argue that only calculating common image quality metrics (e.g., SNR) may not meet the satisfaction of brain MRI analysis with fast acquisition techniques. A whole-process quality assessment method is thus proposed comparing different fast acquisition techniques with practical guidelines. In future, comprehensive quality assessment on fast MRI acquisitions can become a study routine.
How to access this content:
For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.
After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.
After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
