Synopsis

Keywords: Artifacts, High-Field MRI, MP2RAGE, 7TMP2RAGE requires denoising of the synthesized T1-weighted image. The conventional denoising method is to add a constant in the synthesis that alters the brain signal. This affects brain segmentation. A new denoising method has been developed to denoise it with preserving the brain signal. The new method estimates the bias field from two inversion images and sets the noise floors at the low and high noise levels in proportion to the bias field. The denoise weight is calculated at each voxel using the two noise floors. The proposed denoising method worked reliably with preserving the brain signal.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
