Keywords: Flow, Velocity & FlowThe assessment of flow within a heart cycle places high demands on the temporal resolution of the measurement protocol. With self-gating we can exploit the quasi-periodicity of cardiac and respiratory motion to meet this challenge. We combined a Hadamard flow-encoding scheme together with SSA-FARY to further elaborate on the idea of a flow measurement with a high temporal and spatial resolution. The approach delivered promising results in 2D and can be seen as a basis for further developement towards 3D flow MRI.
