Synopsis

Keywords: Cardiomyopathy, CardiomyopathyMyocardial fibrosis causes functional impairment in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). The clinical gold standard for imaging myocardial fibrosis is cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with late gadolinium enhancement (LGE), which is commonly used for the diagnosis and prognostic evaluation of patients with HCM. However, LGE imaging is an invasive test and some patients have adverse reactions to contrast agents. The aim of this study is to predict the presence of fibrosis in the left ventricular myocardium by cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) non-invasive assessment of left atrial and left ventricular parameters in patients with HCM.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
