Synopsis

Keywords: Myocardium, ThermometryA novel fast simultaneous multi-slice black blood cardiac thermometry sequence is presented which allows multiple slices to be acquired in the same cardiac phase. A double inversion recovery pre-pulse is introduced to allow blood suppression and to optimise the pre-pulse strategy and therefore reduce acquisition time. Simultaneous multi-slice (SMS) imaging is integrated to further reduce the acquisition time of the multiple slices. Thermometry results obtained with this technique show an average temperature stability of 1.0±0.4°C in healthy subjects.

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
