Even though there is a wealth of available knowledge explaining the theory of MRI RF coil design, there are many unforeseen situations one will encounter in practice. The road for coil development is filled with many valuable lessons. We hope to provide a practical guide for new builders by describing our experiences in coil design, construction, and troubleshooting.
