Synopsis

Keywords: Hybrid & Novel Systems Technology, Data Processing, super-resolution, high resolution, FingerprintingWe introduce a novel approach, Super-Resolution Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (SR-MRF), which is a combination of an optical super-resolution microscopy method, Super-resolution Optical Fluctuation Imaging (SOFI) and MR-Fingerprinting. Our preliminary results in simulated MRF data demonstrate both 2-fold resolution improvement, as demonstrated by point spread function (PSF) analysis, and tissue-type segmentation. This technique represents an original crossover between the fields of MR-imaging and super-resolution microscopy, and lays the groundwork for other such techniques to follow.

How to access this content:

For one year after publication, abstracts and videos are only open to registrants of this annual meeting. Registrants should use their existing login information. Non-registrant access can be purchased via the ISMRM E-Library.

After one year, current ISMRM & ISMRT members get free access to both the abstracts and videos. Non-members and non-registrants must purchase access via the ISMRM E-Library.

After two years, the meeting proceedings (abstracts) are opened to the public and require no login information. Videos remain behind password for access by members, registrants and E-Library customers.
