A
contrast mechanism which is selective to the binding of a magnetic
nanoparticle has been successfully observed in an NMR spectrometer. There
are, however, difficulties to achieve compatibility with a standard MRI
device. We present first experiments on how to realize this contrast
mechanism in an open tomography system.
