Tau i , A Metabolic Imaging Biomarker for Myocardium

The mean intracellular water lifetime, tau I , is inversely proportional to myocyte metabolic activity. This biomarker is not available when tracer expressions are used to analyze CA-enhanced myocardial T 1 data. We show this with in vivo data from healthy control subjects.
