Specific MRI Detection of PSMA-expressing Prostate Cancer uisng 3C6 MAb-conjugated SPIONs

We demonstrate a new contrast agent, synthesized from commercial streptavidin superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs) conjugated to 3C6 antibodies, which selectively enhances the T1 contrast of human prostate cancer cells that overexpress prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA).
